Key Features
Like each speaker in the range, the Audica Satellite CS-S1 is a high pass filtered reflex design with 4th order crossover topology at its heart. Passive high pass filtering optimises the cone excursion of the low frequency unit which itself is a bespoke design with an optimised frequency range specific to this application.
Its construction incorporates a doped paper cone, a high power 19mm copper clad aluminium voice coil and a triple stacked neodymium magnet with stray field compensation. High frequencies are produced by a 14mm balanced dome tweeter coupled to a neodymium magnet and cooled by Ferro fluid.
